This was the point during my concentration at which I felt completely lost as to what to do next. My collection of pieces seemed incoherent and the theme that they are supposed to be intertwined by seemed too vague. Consequently, I took a break from drawing decomposing materials and turned to one of my favorite subjects to draw, hands. I opted to do various contour line drawings in order to demonstrate the raw and primitive nature of these drawings. Once I had finished the outlines I decided that color was necessary to tie these to my concentration, thus I chose to use the colors of infected and bruised skin for the first image. The colors blended in with the background too much and the image became muddled; I was dissatisfied. This dissatisfaction made me make another hand drawing with the same reference as the first drawing. I am unsure what direction to take at this point. I have looped.
